As Head of Credit you are responsible for Juni’s credit offering. You will lead our Credit Operations team, and ensure seamless collaboration with our Credit Product, Legal, and FP&A teams. You want to tailor underwriting towards our ICP and their business models, and leverage real-time on- and off-platform data to make better credit decisions than conventional lenders in order to provide an unparalleled customer experience, while managing and mitigating credit- and business risk.
In this role, you’ll:
- Lead our Credit Operations team, including Underwriting, Monitoring & Collections
- Monitor and actively improve Credit KPIs - customer time in funnel, funnel conversion, yield, margin and risk-profile at a customer and portfolio level
- Proactively improve our credit-decisioning infrastructure, including case management, risk model, underwriting scorecards and more, to ensure future scalability and optimal risk assessment processes
- Ensure sound and efficient governance within the Credit domain, fit for a bank
- Act as a point of contact and leader for the Credit domain - ensuring seamless collaboration with our Credit Product, Legal & FP&A teams

What we need to see
- A bachelor's degree in either Finance or Economics
- Excellent understanding of a company’s finances, financial reporting, and risk drivers
- An operationally-focused mindset, with an ability to see a problem through to resolution.
What we’d love to see
- Strong data capabilities and familiarity working in data environments (eg SQL, Python)
- Background in Credit underwriting & operations from a fintech and/or bank
- Experience in both operational work as well as portfolio analytics
- A strong interest in our vision and creating an unparalleled credit offering
