While product designers are accountable for ensuring the solution is usable, and the engineers are accountable for ensuring the solution is feasible, an Inpay Product Manager is accountable for ensuring the solution is both valuable, compliant, and viable.
This means that you as Product Manager will contribute with a thorough knowledge of our customers as well as data about how our customers engage with our products. At the same time, you will contribute with a solid knowledge of the various constraints of the business from sales, finance, engineering, compliance, legal, and more.
You will discover and align on effective solutions and partner together with engineering to plan, prioritize, and execute those solutions. At Inpay, the Product Manager is the center of excellence for their product/product area. This position will be responsible for our Postal / Eurogiro product (cash pay-outs).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to discover effective solutions and support the integration of Eurogiro products into Inpay
- Partner with engineering team to plan and execute strategies
- Work closely with sales to track industry trends and discovery
- Contribute to team knowledge, collaboration and proactive culture
- Provide short-term and long-term solutions for users and customers
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated understanding of the techniques and methods of modern product development and product execution
- Demonstrated ability to figure out solutions to problems with many constraints, using sound judgement to assess risks, and to lay out your argument in a well-structured, data-informed, narrative
- At least 2-3 years working on technology-powered financial products as either a Product Manager, Product Owner, or Business Analyst
- Experience from working with multiple functional areas of business – engineering, design, compliance, finance, sales, or marketing
- You have experience product development within payments/finance industry (preferably B2B and Postal/Cash/MTOs) including KYC/AML
- You are enthusiastic about taking ownership for business outcomes
- You have excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- You’re a structured problem solver and are proactive in anticipating potential constraints (not afraid to ask for help) and getting things done
- You can engage with engineers, compliance and sales colleagues as well as company leaders in constructive collaboration
- You can manage both hands on and strategic product development from the collection of requirements, development of user stories, daily collaboration with engineers and designing and following up on roadmaps
