Atlar Raises €5M Seed Funding Led by Index Ventures for Automated Bank Paymentsby Fintechnews Nordics November 21, 2022
Swedish bank payments platform Atlar has closed a €5 million seed round led by Index Ventures, with the participation of European venture capital firms La Famiglia VC and Cocoa.
Atlar is a bank payments platform which enables businesses to automate their payment activities such as initiating transfers, reconciling transactions, handling direct debits, and more.
Founded in 2022 by three Tink alumni, the company’s early customers include insurance company Lassie, payments company Mynt, and German fintech lender Banxware.
“Having been through the pain of both building our own bank integrations and setting up a back office team, we were thrilled to partner with Atlar,”
said Nicolas Kipp, Founder and COO at Banxware.
“Johannes, Joel and I founded Atlar earlier this year to build a state-of-the-art operating system for bank payments. We have since then seen an incredible response from the market and already today serve customers across several European markets,”
said Joel Nordström, CEO & Co-Founder at Atlar.
