Mollie, an Amsterdam-based payment solutions provider, has launched in Sweden.
With a customer base of over 250,000 across Europe, the company is now offering its comprehensive payments and financial management platform to Swedish businesses.
Founded in 2004, Mollie has built a reputation as a reliable fintech company by simplifying financial processes for businesses.
The platform is designed to accelerate growth, streamline operations, and reduce costs for customers.
Sweden, as the eighth largest e-commerce market in Europe, marks the beginning of Mollie’s expansion into the Nordic region.
The company aims to support Swedish companies with its product suite, which serves businesses both locally and internationally, online and offline.

‘Sweden, with its position as a digital pioneer, is a strategically important market for Mollie,’
said Koen Köppen, CEO of Mollie.
‘Our goal is to be more than just a payment provider – we want to be a strategic partner that drives growth for businesses of all sizes by simplifying and innovating the industry.’
Mollie’s expansion strategy focuses on adapting both the product offering and customer support to local markets.
In Sweden, the company will offer local payment options like Swish, in addition to international solutions such as Apple Pay, PayPal, and Klarna.
Mollie has set up teams in Stockholm and Gothenburg to provide onboarding and support in Swedish.
To further accelerate its Nordic expansion, Mollie has appointed Markus Granström, formerly of Sweden, as General Manager of Expansion and VP of Product.

‘It’s exciting to be part of Mollie at this stage,’
Granström said.
‘Our product is leading in the market, and we will continue pushing boundaries to provide even more benefits and growth opportunities for our customers.’
Flattered, Mollie’s first Swedish customer, has already integrated the platform.
