Mynt, founded in Stockholm in 2018 and a Visa partner since 2023, has grown to become a prominent provider of spend management solutions in the Nordic region.
The company offers corporate cards to over 16,000 business customers, enabling them to integrate seamlessly with ERP and accounting systems.
This reduces the time businesses spend on financial administration and bookkeeping.
The partnership with Visa aims to address the increasing demand for efficient spend management solutions, particularly among SMBs.
Philip Konopik, Regional Managing Director at Visa Nordics & Baltics, commented:

“Another great example of Nordic fintech innovation where Visa is deepening collaboration with Mynt, where our combined capabilities will enable our clients and partners to bring market-leading propositions and services to Small and Medium-sized Businesses across Europe.”
The investment, part of Mynt’s series B funding round, signals Visa’s continued support for innovative fintech solutions and the enhancement of payment experiences for businesses in Europe.
In addition to this investment, Mynt will become a reseller partner for Visa, allowing the company to extend its reach across Europe.
This collaboration will enable Visa to resell Mynt’s SaaS solutions directly to issuers, streamlining the client onboarding process and speeding up go-to-market timelines, in line with Visa’s B2B strategy.
Baltsar Sahlin, CEO and Co-Founder of Mynt, said:

“We are excited to welcome Visa as an investor and to become their reselling partner. We are impressed by Visa’s team, and this partnership will allow us to further scale our solutions across Europe and the UK. Visa’s investment is also a testament to the strength of our technology, capabilities and our vision to simplify and streamline business expenses.”
Through this collaboration, Visa aims to better meet the needs of its clients, particularly in the underserved SMB market.
Mynt’s platform provides features like auto-reconciliation and easy integration with accounting software, which helps businesses gain spend insights and reduce administrative tasks.
